About capacity:
Due to the different computing units and computer operating systems of hard disk manufacturers, the capacity display will be different. In the production of hard disk, the capacity is calculated according to 1g = 1000m = 1000 * 1000k = 1000 * 1000 * 1000byte. However, the computer operating system is binary and calculated according to 1g = 1024m = 1024 * 1024k = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 byte.
For example, the actual capacity is 1000g/1.024/1.024/1.024 = 931G (1000 ÷ 1.024 ÷ 1.024 ÷ 1.024), so the display capacity of 1TB hard disk is 931g.

Frequently asked questions:
Solution to boot hard disk drives above 2.2 TB.
Most traditional systems built before 2011 have traditional PC BIOS. This type of BIOS uses the Master Boot Record (MBR). MBR partitions can define up to 2.2TB of disk drive capacity. Therefore, the Windows operating system booting from MBR is limited to 2.2tb per MBR. For example, the 3TB disk drive in the old BIOS and Window system will need the DiscWizard device driver to access the full capacity of the 3TB disk drive. Due to the limitation of MBR, two partitions will be needed. The device driver uses another MBR to load more than 2.2TB of capacity, which treats the system as the second virtual “physical” device. GUID partition table (GPT) can define drives larger than 2.2TB .. You can now use GPT as a non-boot data driver on any Windows 10/8.1/8/7 and Vista system. Windows can only boot GPT partitions on a new BIOS called UEFI.
